Get Some Attention!

If you are new to physical activity and looking for guidance, if you are a seasoned exerciser and need a boost, or if you are a super intense exerciser and think you don’t need assistance, attention from a trainer can make a difference in your results. Personalized attention from an exercise professional can help you push toward your potential in a more effective manner.

In the December, 2009, issue of Men’s Health, there was a mention of a study published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. The study examined the mind-muscle connection and found that the best physical gains come not just from “going to the gym,” but from attention from an exercise professional. Participants in the study who had high supervision from a trainer, could lift significantly more weight than participants who had less supervision. Attention and psychological reinforcement resulted in greater mental and physical strength.

We might conclude from this that a personal trainer is an important tool in pushing toward your potential. Even if you already train on a regular basis, mixing up your routine with assisted individual training, with someone who can positively influence your energy, refresh your motivation with reinforcement, add variety, and give you personal ATTENTION, is going to improve your level of output and intensity. Hire a trainer, push your limits! Be better.
